EC1515B v3 manual: functions and settings
|
The previous article describes how you can assemble the EC1515B digital clock DIY kit with DS3102 IC. Unfortunately, there is usually no user manual included. The EC1515B v3 manual that can be found online does not excel in clarity. That is why in this article we will look at what functions the clock has and how you can set everything.

EC1515B v3 manual
The clock has two buttons on the back. The left is the MODE button and the right is the PLUS. Usually, you select the setting you want to change with MODE and change the value of that setting with PLUS.
The clock has 4 modes:
- Time display (standard mode, from this you go to the other 3 modes).
- Time settings (press MODE briefly).
- Hourly signal and alarm settings (press MODE for 3 seconds).
- Function settings (press MODE for longer than 3 seconds).
The different modes are discussed below in succession.

The clock is in this mode by default. In this mode 3 different displays are possible:

The desired display can be selected in step 6 of the Function settings, see below.
The PLUS button in this mode does the following:
- PLUS: successively displays temperature, year, month and day, day of the week.

- Select 1 to 60 for an interval in minutes.
- Choose greater than 60 for an interval in hours: 62 = an interval of 2 hours.
